Resurrection and a renewed creation
All the dead rise before final judgment. The redeemed live with Christ in glorified body and soul, and the universe is renewed (CCC 1038, 1042–1047). This hope concerns the whole person and creation. The Catechism does not specify the time or physical manner of the transformation (CCC 1048).
