Basins, Towels & Service Chairs
Participants wash one another’s feet in an act of humble service. Portable basin, towels and seats are service equipment, not a baptismal font.
Perspective note
Comparative historical/source study. The original author's or church's reception is retained; inclusion does not make every claim Oriental Orthodox teaching.
Key points

- Church of the Brethren; United States. Contemporary love-feast teaching arrangement. This is the Church of the Brethren, not Plymouth or Open Brethren. Congregations vary in meal, frequency, seating and room use. Dining tables and portable washing stations depict a service setup rather than permanent sanctuary architecture.
- Coordinates, dimensions, materials, room envelope, seat counts and unspecified furniture placement are illustrative rather than surveyed measurements. Teaching sources establish practices, not architectural dimensions. Service equipment is temporary where labeled.
