Choir & Singers
Choir seats illustrate one way singers can support the congregation's hymns and sung prayer.
Key points
- The choir serves the shared song of the assembly.
- Look for: Seats for singers beside the altar or table.
- An illustrative traditional Anglican parish drawing on Church of England guidance. Anglican churches range from evangelical to Anglo-Catholic, and their buildings, terminology, Communion practice, music, and imagery vary. This arrangement is an example rather than a universal Anglican plan.
- The worship leaders and Communion area are at the top of this study plan. The model's front is a viewing direction rather than a required compass orientation. Furniture positions and building plans vary by congregation. The drawing is schematic: object sizes, materials, decorative details, and exact coordinates are illustrative rather than surveyed measurements or denominational requirements.
