High altar

Church Architecture

The high altar is this model’s principal altar. Its mensa (tabletop) represents a stone altar with three cloths, the upper cloth reaching down the sides. Offertory and Canon, the Eucharistic prayer, take place here. The rear position and reredos (screen behind the altar) are design choices.
