Angels and departed humans are distinct
Raphael’s presentation of prayer and Revelation’s incense scene concern heavenly or angelic service. Why transfer a role assigned to angels to every departed human saint?
Perspective note
The Orthodox response is presented affirmatively. Named Lutheran, Reformed, and ancient objections retain their own attribution; analytic questions are labeled as such.
