Sahih Hadith Body-Language Corpus

Islamic Apologetics

This dossier isolates body-related language found in Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, or a report explicitly graded Sahih in the linked edition. It includes face or countenance, the denial that the Lord is one-eyed, right-hand and two-hand language, fingers, shin, foot, and the disputed image report. Authenticity status establishes that a report belongs in the discussion; it does not decide whether its wording is literal, analogical, idiomatic, or an attribute affirmed without known modality.

Why it matters

A Sahih-only layer prevents weaker or mis-cited material from carrying the argument. It also exposes the remaining metaphysical question cleanly: whether independently transmitted expressions can coherently be affirmed without resemblance, composition, spatial arrangement, or anatomical inference.

Perspective note

This is a Christian apologetics study of Islamic claims about God. Qur'anic and hadith wording, Muslim interpretations, and Christian evaluations are kept distinct so that a critique does not substitute a caricature for the position being evaluated.
